What the culture's like
There are twenty of us, split pretty evenly between Colouring In and Powerpoint, and as you might expect, the atmosphere’s pretty good.
The office is open plan, which seems to work well most of the time, unless someone inadvertently puts a 20 minute drone remix on the stereo, in which case Client Services complain of not being able to concentrate and The Studio just nod off.
As an agency that does lots of stuff, most of us do lots-of-stuff – there’s no one here to make the tea or send your post, sorry. The up-side of course is that you get exposed to lots of things, and get to enjoy the butt-clenching excitement of doing things you’ve never done before. It’s a bit like like National Service for Wimps.
As you may also have guessed from the quite frankly inappropriate tone of this site, while we dedicate ourselves to turning out top-notch things for clients, we don’t take ourselves too seriously. That said, we have started getting a bit of press, which while great, is a bit strange. So if you see anything daft purporting to come from us in the press, we’ve either been misquoted, or were a bit drunk.
We’re situated in the heart of Trendy Clerkenwell™, which thankfully still retains enough rough edges to ward off total poncification. It can however only be a matter of time. Soho and Covent Garden are a five minute bus ride away, likewise the City. Clerkenwell Green, Smithfield and Exmouth Market are an easy walk away, as are such excellent hostelries as The Eagle, Three Kings and The Red Pub.
If one’s feeling brave, a fifteen minute walk brings you to Old Street and The Even Trendier East, a land of funny haircuts and people who make their own clothes.
