London Zoo

£5.3m and 18 months in the making, the new Gorilla Kingdom is London Zoo’s biggest project in 40 years.

It’s also a pretty nifty pad for Bobby, Zaire and Effie – and living proof of how zoos are changing for the better.

As part of the Kingdom’s marketing campaign we developed the Desktop Gorilla.

Part clever cross-platform desktop application code, part 500lbs of furry fun, we asked children to download their very own baby gorilla and look after it for three weeks.

They learned about gorillas, London Zoo got to interact with their audience on a daily basis.
